Does RoadView need internet or mobile service?+
No. RoadView creates its own private Wi-Fi connection between the camera and your phone. It works at remote campsites and on the road without using mobile data.
Will the signal reach through a long RV or trailer?+
The direct wireless connection is designed for up to 60 metres in open conditions, making it suitable for most RVs, fifth wheels, travel trailers, and utility trailers.
Does it work with iPhone and Android?+
Yes. The companion app supports recent iPhone and Android devices. You can connect up to four cameras and switch views in the app.
Do I need to drill holes or run wires?+
No. The magnetic and adhesive mounting options let you install RoadView in minutes without touching your vehicle wiring.
How long does the battery last?+
Expect approximately eight hours of continuous viewing. USB-C charging takes about three hours, while standby use lasts significantly longer depending on motion activity.
Can it handle Canadian weather?+
The IP67 housing is built for rain, dust, and temperatures from approximately −20°C to 60°C. Remove the camera before a high-pressure vehicle wash.
